We must sadly report that Maureen Roehnelt, the namesake and driving force behind the Maureen Fund for ovarian cancer, passed away on November 22, 2006. Her courage, dedication and determination to turn her own struggle into a powerful wakeup call for women everywhere will be deeply missed, but her strength and spirit will live on as we continue the work she began. Please honor Maureen's memory by supporting the cause she cherished most. In her name, we will not rest until ovarian cancer, the "silent killer," is silenced at last. |
